Cyber Security Engineer

Actionline Ltd., is a Greek company that specializes in the provision of innovative human resources solutions. Actionline is currently seeking on behalf of its client, for a Cyber Security Engineer.

Description:

In your role you will undertake tasks, such as:

• Design, implement, administrate, maintain, tune, and troubleshoot Cybersecurity Systems and Solutions such as WAF, DAM, EDR, email Security, PAM, DLP, etc.
• Investigate and analyze alerts triggered from the Cyber Security Solutions in place.
• Work on projects focused on development and continuous improvement of security infrastructure.
• Provide consultation and security improvements in Azure oriented solutions and be responsible for the security hardening of the aforementioned systems.
• Research innovative technologies and investigate industry security best practices in designing problems.
• Assist in maintaining the security level of IT systems and networks.
• Create documentation and revise the deliverables for important cybersecurity projects.

To be a successful candidate, your professional profile should match the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Technical University degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven minimum five years of experience in IT Security roles within companies or organizations with IT or Network Departments.
• Experience and knowledge of Cyber Security tools & technologies, such as: WAF, SIEM, EDR, Email Protection, Microsoft Defender, DAM, Cloud Security Services (Azure), DLP, DC, IRM, IAM, PAM.
• Desired IT Security certifications from ISACA, (ISC)², or other recognized organizations.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• A Master’s or PhD degree in Information Security is considered a plus.

On the personal side:

• Comfort in presenting and explaining cybersecurity topics to technical teams as well as high-level audience.
• Experience in working with cross functional teams in executing projects (IT Systems, Database or Network Administrators).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
• Passionate with Cyber Security topic.
• Strong aptitude for staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices.
